Qualification Criteria for RPL Report

For candidates seeking an Australian Skilled Migration, ACS skills assessment is a crucial element. Different qualification categories can be found together with the appropriate requirements for the ACS evaluation. The experience of the applicant should be wholly aligned with the skill achieved. The applicant's dream is to settle for a safe job in Australia.

The Australian Computer Society will evaluate applicants with an ICT background (ACS). This official institution is responsible for carrying out your evaluation of your skills.

A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) report is necessary when you lack an ICT qualification. RPL report is necessary to check if the skills of the candidate meet the current in-demand expertise.

The RPL report demonstrates the applicant's competence and experience required for migration to Australia. The ACS RPL report is used to assess non-ICT applicants' skills and applicants without sufficient ICT knowledge. You must submit an RPL report to the ACS to show that your credentials and qualifications meet Australia's ACS eligibility migration criteria.

The RPL report is essential for immigrants who apply to Australia for eligible immigration but do not graduate from Australian institutions. For the ACS to authorize eligible immigration into Australia, it is also essential to apply the ACS RPL report appropriately. You will be rejected if you do not fill the application correctly and do not fulfill the requirements of the RPL report. In addition, if you provide a plagiarized copy that will cost you a lot of time and money, the ACS might keep you from applying again for a year.

Accredited Australian ICT qualifications

The primary ICT criteria will be fulfilled by applicants having an Australian degree certified by an ACS company. This does not, however, guarantee to assess the qualification about the occupation of ANZSCO.

Assessment of ICT Content in Tertiary Qualifications

Qualifications of either an ICT Major or an ICT Minor in computers within this category are examined. In the case of less than one minor, the content of ICT is evaluated as Non-ICT Qualification.

ICT Major Criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree Level

Applicants who have three years of Bachelor's degree are considered significant in the computing field—given that at least 33 percent of academic qualifications are included in the Information and communication technology sector. If the period of your qualification is more significant, you are evaluated as comparable to a three-year AQF Level 7 award, i.e., Bachelor.

  • Post Graduate Degree Level

If at least 50% of the qualifications are ICT, a postgraduate degree without a Bachelor with ICT Major shall be recognized as a computer major. The equivalent of the AQF Level 8 or above level is examined for long-term credentials. A postgraduate study in Australia requires at least 67% ICT material with just 12 topics.

  • For the Australian postgraduate credentials, a total of three minimum semesters or at least one and a half full-time students are required.
  • At least two semesters, with similar full-time ICT material for at least one year; at least twelve units or subjects are necessary.

A postgraduate qualification requiring a Bachelor's degree with an ICT degree is necessary to be admitted to the course at least 33% ICT, all of which must be graduated.

ICT Minor Criteria

If the ICT content constitutes at least 2/3 of the major, a Bachelor's degree in computing will be deemed minor.

Inadequate ICT content

Qualifications for a major less than the required ICT material are categorized as non-ICT.

Criteria for closely associated ICT material

To satisfy the appropriateness criteria, at least 65 percent of the ICT material for the asserted profession should be included in the education certificate.

Academic Record Statement

The list of courses completed and the points obtained in your degree record should be completed. Web reports and result slips are considered Inadmissible. To clarify information, applicants should have a legend or key that sketches the grading method.

Qualification completed, graduation certificate not yet been issued.

If the candidates have their qualifications completed but have not yet acquired their certificates, an official declaration must be supplied indicating the date on which the course is completed.
